I have the same glitch and put in a ticket as well but support gave me a meaningless response. I’ve been mining in the safe zone but I’ll try in our home region just to make sure. The gold loss is a killer, thanks for raising this issue!!
Update: gold amount received is now correct when mined in the home region. It’s sad support knows nothing, I had put a ticket weeks ago and they gave a typical response after which a player doesn’t feel like pursuing the complaint/query. Thanks again for raising this
