Atlas Guard Access Changes

Hello Dragon Lords,

Today we’re going to be detailing some new changes to Guard Access in Atlas. Please see below for details on what’s going to be changed:

In the current state players can attack castle guards under the following conditions:

  • They have a primarch on a hostile (non-5TA) castle where they want to attack guards
  • The offensive primarch has more troops on it than the sum of all troops from the castle owner’s team present on the castle.
  • They are not trapped

The change we intend to make will change things so players can attack castle guards under the following conditions:

  • They have a primarch on a hostile (non-5TA) castle where they want to attack guards
  • The offensive primarch has more troops on it than the (100%) sum of all troops from the top 3 (by troop count) from the castle owner’s team present on the castle
  • They are not trapped

This change is aimed at reducing the effectiveness of protecting castles with large numbers of primarchs with low troop loads. We will be watching Atlas activity closely and tuning these values if needed.

Currently this change is projected to go live on March 17th. We’ll be sure to update the community if this changes.
