PG, how about giving us a bronze chest for defending a base and taking down at least 1 dragon rather than “allowing” us to acquire the Water Dragon. Do away with that dragon at higher levels.
I’m not sure, attacking someone you want to annoy or don’t like with Ryuu is pretty satisfying
Hmmm interesting concept, perhaps it warrants a discussion of sorts.
It would be cool to be able to take your pick once you defeat 20 dragons.
- water dragon use (2 uses)
- x bronze chests (maybe 10?)
- y silver chests (maybe 5?)
A few conditions would of course have to be put into place such as:
- only 3 point from one person per day or something. There has to be some way to restrict giving your friends a bunch of chests all of the time.
- once per week availability to get the reward. Or maybe once per week you could receive EACH reward which would also increase the number of times a player defends their team during non-war times.
But excellent idea I really like where this one is going
Maybe rotate the prize daily.
I keep Ryuu in my roster in case I follow a low-level teammate and they need my help. Also, if all my other dragons are healing, I can still join attacks because Ryuu is ready.
That being said, I do think a change would be neat. I’m sure that Ryuu isn’t very useful at higher levels, and I do like the idea of being able to choose your prize once you shoot down 20 dragons.
Get Ember and no more Ryuu . Leave it at L1 for token missions.
I really don’t use that dragon at all anymore. Once I hit level 30 it was underpowered most of the time. I’d much rather get something better for 20 succesful ldefenses. I like the chest idea more than anything. I usually defend if I can just to show support for teammates bit I can see why people don’t do it much anymore. Give evryone a reason to want to do it!
Ahh I wish I’d done that back then! I got him and bought his first stone, then leveled him up Plus, I’ve already bred a green legendary, so I couldn’t if I hadn’t already.
Keep scaling Ryuu!
He was awesome when I was a fledging. I enjoyed using him… Then he became an annoyance…
Scale that God of Water up! Make him worthy of the god moniker.
Just my humble opinion… Although, I won’t turn down chests either.
- Ice Shock
- Divine Fireball
- Dark Flak Resist
Ice shock and white bolt.
Scale him on the current progression for the current end game dragon…
Gradually convert all spells to white as he progresses.
Pipe dream, but would be very easy to do.
@PGEggToken total pipe dream? Or only partial?
He’s a total waste of my time. I use him to back a low level if I don’t want to use a potion
or just to say hi to my friends.
Yea restrict number of attacks or I’d just attack myself with my alt everyday
Agree completely. Either, scale him up to just above a players top dragon when summoned, or change the reward to chests. He just sits in my roster forever.
Exactly. Restrict it to one collection per week for each “prize”. Aka have 5 silver chests as a reward you can select when your shrine fills up. Then once you select it only the other prizes are available to collect. Ryuu could be the exception, as your always available collection if you collect all of the “prizes”
Even if you attacked yourself with your alt everyday, the most you could get per week is 5 silver chests and 10 bronze or whatever the total number of prizes is. Is it worth it? Perhaps not to go attack with your alt. Is it more worthwhile for defenders? i’d think so since you can rack up those prizes pretty easily.
I’d probably still do it - because I’m bored and I can…
Possible example of scaling, using red to obsidian evolving dragon to get curve:
|Current Ryuu||level||HP||attackPower||Proposed Ryuu||Level||HP||Attack Power||Required Stable|
I couldn’t use Ryuu’s number and get anything other than crazy… so, he’s weaker at first, but it pays off starting fairly low.
Just give us 10 hammers instead of Ryuu
Will be the best deal
Or 1-3 100% xp boosters
Don’t get me wrong. I love the chest idea. But if we’re going to stick with the “free” dragon reward, it needs to be something that we actually want to use. Not a super-mega-death-ray. But something that keeps scaling with the player.
When Ryuu hit 16 more me, he was a BEAST. I looked forward to using him. I would actually defend just to get him. LOL. But this was also before I really understood the importance of having a teammate to finish or doing it solo with one dragon.
Which–brings up another possibility… Ryuu doesn’t earn experience in the normal sense. So, what if, when backing yourself with Ryuu, it doesn’t count XP-wise as a second dragon? Just a thought… maybe not doable with current programming. But, that would be really cool, and an additional incentive to defend those bases, war or not.
Give us the choice of a hunter, sorcerer or warrior dragon to be awarded from 20 dragons shot down.
