Corruption Season Comes To Atlas

Corruption Season Comes To Atlas

Hello Dragon Masters!

The current Atlas Dreadfrost Season ends on Wednesday, March 15 at 2PM PT. All prizes must be claimed by then, as Atlas Dreadfrost Badges will not be usable in future seasons. The Atlas Corruption Season will arrive the following day, March 16. Teamwork will be of utmost importance as always, so gather the troops and set the skies for battle!

Please Note: The Atlas Corruption Season will end on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 so that the following season does not start during a PvP event.

As with last season, teams in leagues Gold 1 and above will be able to access Atlas. The Corruption season will continue to bring in new blood and new competition!

EARN MORE MYTHIC TIER GEAR

More Mythic Gear is coming with the Atlas Corruption Season! Individual Mythic Gear pieces will need to be leveled up to level 10 to get the full Attack and HP benefits. Remember, that Mythic Gear is exclusive to Atlas Seasons.

Offensive Rider Gear Branches will have 4 pieces of Elite Gear in each branch building up to the Mythic Branch.

  • First branch will contain Gauntlets, Boots, a Ring, and a Weapon.
  • Second branch will contain a Chest Piece, Helm, Pants, and a Shield.
  • Mythic branch will contain Chest Piece, Helm, Pants, and a Shield.
  • Players will be able to choose the elements of each piece in the branch.
  • Players will also have the option to choose 500K crafting shards instead of any piece of Elite Gear.

Defensive Rider Gear Branches will have 4 pieces of Elite Gear in each branch building up to the Mythic Branch.

  • First branch will contain Gauntlets, Boots, a Ring, and a Weapon.
  • Second branch will contain a Chest Piece, Helm, Pants, and a Shield.
  • Mythic branch will contain Gauntlets, Boots, a Ring, and a Weapon.
  • Players will be able to choose the elements of each piece in the branch.

Primarch Stat Buffs can be unlocked to grant your Primarchs up to +25% Attack and Defense ratings until the end of the current Atlas Season. These apply across all the Primarch tiers for each class of Primarch. These will remain unchanged from previous seasons.

EXOTIC GEAR IS BACK

This season we’ll be bringing back all 8 pieces of Exotic Gear from the previous seasons for another run! This came at high request from players. They will be split across two branches and gated in the same way as last season. This will continue to make unlocking Exotic Gear a little bit cheaper for all players.

Exotic Gear 1 branch

  • Unlocks after completing the two Elite Offensive gear gear branches and the Mythic Offensive gear branch
  • Contains four Exotic Gear pieces
    • Offensive Gloves of the Sorcerer grant a bonus 20% attack speed at max level. This buff applies only to sorcerers. The gloves also grant bonus dragon attack power that applies to any dragon.
    • Offensive Gloves of the Hunter grant a bonus 20% to ammo regeneration rate at max level. This buff applies only to hunters. The gloves also grant bonus dragon attack power that applies to any dragon.
    • Offensive Gloves of the Warrior grants Warrior projectile speed +20% at max level. The gloves also grant bonus dragon attack power that applies to any dragon.
    • Offensive Helm of Invigoration grants 2% chance to reset spell cooldowns when a tower is destroyed at max level. The gloves also grant bonus dragon attack power that applies to any dragon.

Exotic Gear 2 branch

  • Unlocks after completing the two Elite Defensive gear gear branches and the Mythic Defensive gear branch
  • Contains four Exotic Gear pieces
    • Offensive Sword of Healing that provides health to the dragon whenever a tower is destroyed (2% per tower at max level)
    • Offensive Shield of Rage that grants rage to the dragon whenever a tower is destroyed (.1 rage bar per tower at max level)
    • Offensive Ring of Mortal Wounds that reduces healing on towers hit by the dragon’s basic attack by 20% at max level
    • Defensive Helm of Defense that grants 2 extra supershots when actively defending a base

NOTE: As always, Exotic Gear also provides the base stat bonuses of mythic tier gear.

ATLAS RIDER BRANCH

The Atlas Rider Branch must be completed to open the new Atlas Champion Rider branch. We have added selectable prizes at all blue shard nodes. Players that already have this season’s Atlas Champion Rider and a sufficient stockpile of blue rider shards can now choose gold packs instead of blue shards.

ATLAS CHAMPION RIDER CROM

The Altas Corruption season will feature a new Atlas Champion Rider Branch and a new rider with Champion Rider levels. Crom is this season’s Atlas Champion Rider!

  • Champion Rider Branch is unlocked by completing the Atlas Rider Branch, which provides Altas Champion Rider Shards
  • Crom is this season’s Atlas Champion Rider
    • Red or blue rider shards are available as an alternate prize in the Atlas Rider Branch for those who do not have Crom yet
  • Completing the Champion Rider Branch provides enough Crom Champion Rider shards to advance Crom to level 60

NOTE: These shard to advance Crom from 51-60 are Crom specific and not the yellow Champion Shards we have used previously.

CASTLE LEADERBOARD & EVENTS LEADERBOARD

No updates to share other than the usual castle leaderboard scoring and events leaderboard prizing. The updates to castle scoring including the new victory points system that the Lost Islands have added will continue to apply as they have the last couple seasons.

THE LOST ISLANDS

The Lost Islands will disappear and reemerge with new lands to conquer on Tuesday, March 28! More details and a small set of patch notes for the New Lands will be coming in the next couple weeks. Keep in mind that the castle ownership limits and castle leaderboard points will continue to work as they previously have.

CRAFTING MATERIALS

With this Atlas Corruption season and recent release of Ascendant Gear, we will be adding some selectable gemstone nodes to the usual Atlas season branches. Look out for those new crafting materials and use them in the Forge to create new Ascendant Gear.

As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns here in the thread.

Thanks,
Al

Umm why would we need Crom rider shards when he is a blue shard rider? The gold champion shards from the champion branch yes but why would Crom specific shards exist?

Could we get an idea of how many are going to be added? What about crafting tomes?

Given that mythic gear is pretty much the new elite gear now that we have ascended gear, can we please get the option to claim crafting shards or gemstones instead of claiming a piece of mythic gear? I really do not need a 7th set of defensive gear

Very happy for the exotic gear making a return , also cool draconic avatar

When will we know the new stats for crom since he is the champion rider

Maybe there will be two ways to get crom to 50 :joy: blue shards and xp or crom shards. I like options anyway

That would be very odd since none of the blue shard champion riders so far have dont that. Their previous form of leveling to 50 stays the same and it’s just their new levels that are different.

Is crom the first blue shard rider to be an atlas champion vs a main game season champion?

Returning to atlas, yes. Overall no. we had Xandra, Sophia and Anja in the normal seasons. Except for the defender and the purple shard dude, I believe Crom was the first defensive atlas rider.

Works for me though since I’ve already got the champion shards to level him as soon as his new levels are added

Oh I missed the portrait. That’s a nice portrait.

I do wonder though, will Croms’ portraits be offered? They were originally a ranking prize, then when he came out they offered them in the branch. People who got him before werent very happy about that so they said that was a mistake and added the inquisitioner portrait

Will atlas chests be updated with new gear crafting gemstones versus shards as well?

That’s one fugly portrait I’d love to get. :+1:t2: Kudos to the artist.

That new portrait is :fire::fire::fire:

Good to know I was hoping they would add gemstones to atlas branches I held off on doing the trader

Why do we have so many exotic gloves?? I am saturated with gloves.

Why can’t the exotic gear be of a different type? Could use chest piece and pants…

no idea but the hunter gloves are a huge boost so i am sure the walking wallets will continue to support there release till all elements have been collected.

As for the gloves for other classes well its old content so no investment needed there and they fill a hole in the line. what’s not to like

Crom doesn’t look better than the current Champion Vivian.

Please make atlas seasons longer, I was only able to get 1 million glory this season.
