Design Intent and Strategy:

Garmir is the guardian of the Icemane wolves. In battle, it serves as a scout, eliminating key targets in an instant, then recalling back to safety. Recall is the key spell that allows Garmir to quickly escape danger. On the first cast of Recall, Garmir places a waypoint that it can teleport back to when the spell is cast a second time. Its main offensive spell is Ice Mist, a targeted blast that strikes two towers for high damage. Place a waypoint in a safe location, then use Ice Mist to destroy a high priority target, after that, reactivate Recall to return to safety. Frostwolf Howl damages nearby towers and increases the damage they take from Garmir’s spells. Casting Frostwolf Howl first, will increase the damage of Ice Mist and make your attacks even more devastating. For defense Garmir knows Frost Beacon and Invoke: Arctic Burst. Frost Beacon will briefly shield Garmir from any source of damage, and place beacons on nearby towers that Garmir or its allies can collect when destroying affected towers. Be careful not to use Recall too quickly while Frost Beacon is active, or you may teleport away before any tower has been marked. Finally, Invoke: Arctic Burst is Garmir’s invoke spell that freezes any tower struck for a short period. When used in combination with its other spells, a true master of Garmir can tactically destroy any base.

  • CATACLYSM - Active | White | 2 Rage

  • GAIA’S GUARD - Active | White | 2 Rage
Reduces incoming damage by (50)% and grants immunity to Cosmic Orrery pull effect. Dragon instantly heals for (12)% max HP. Duration: 5s, Cooldown: N/A.

Runes and Glyphs

Design Intent and Strategy:

Enten is a powerhouse sorcerer dragon that brings the full strength of the earth to battle. Enten wields two high damage destructive spells: Earth’s Judgement and Cataclysm. Earth’s Judgement rains devastating damage on all towers in a small area, utterly destroying them. This spell can be used to decimate any Red or Invincibility towers that stand in its way. Cataclysm is another powerful spell that blasts all nearby towers, stunning them for a short period and causing them to take significantly increased damage. Destruction is the name of the game and with Reclaim active, Enten will gain health and rage whenever it destroys a tower. Enten’s only defense is Gaia’s Guard, when cast it greatly reduces all damage received by Enten, and instantly restores some health.

Runes and Glyphs

Design Intent and Strategy:

Mogorot is a warrior dragon with exceptional healing capabilities. The twisted corruption of the void has cursed it with new powers that manifest in the passive Demonic Frenzy. While attacking any structure with its breath attack, Mogorot slowly heals itself by sucking the life from it. This passive combined with Predator’s Instinct, a spell that cloaks Mogorot but still allows the use of breath attacks, enables it to heal itself even when it’s unable to be attacked. However the curse is taking its toll, whenever Mogorot uses Dark Burden to increase its breath attack power, it takes a large portion of self-inflicted damage. Mitigating the cost of Dark Burden with Demonic Frenzy’s healing effect is the key. Its final spell is Roar of Sorrow, which damages and freezes all nearby towers. The best time to use this spell is between casts of Predator’s Instinct, when Mogorot is most vulnerable. Master its curse and Mogorot will be a powerful destructive ally.

Dragon flies at (125)% of its base speed, reloads (30)% ammo and dodges all non-beam attacks for (4) seconds. Duration: 4s, Cooldown: 5s.

Runes and Glyphs

Design Intent and Strategy:

Zephyr is the guardian of the borders to the Sygian Glaze. Thanks to its unique spell Second Wind, Zephyr is nearly unrivaled in toughness among Hunter. Second Wind allows Zephyr to gain a large shield as well as a substantial increase to its breath attack power for a short duration. In exchange it loses a portion of its health once the effect expires. That’s not its only defense, it also knows Ice Gale, which allows it to dodge incoming attacks and reload some of its ammo. The combination of these two spells allow it to skillfully handle a number of different defensive set ups. Heavy damage can be mitigated with Second Wind, while debuffs and crowd control effects can be completely dodged with Ice Gale. To help boost its offensive Zephyr can summon a Snow Decoy to battle to fight alongside it. Snow Decoy has very low health but deals a strong burst of damage unlike any other summon spell. It can also be summoned situationally to absorb a single attack. To fuel all of these spells, and help regain any health lost from Second Wind, Zephyr can use Honorable Wings. Honorable Wings instantly grants Zephyr a lot of rage, and for the duration of the spell, allows Zephyr to regain health whenever a tower is destroyed.

Update:

Changed Demonic Frenzy’s spell description to reflect that it’s a passive spell. We are aware that this shows as a passive spell in the training screen in-game, and as an active spell during in-game battles. However, it is intended to be passive, and this a UI bug.

Demonic Frenzy is meant to be a passive spell, despite it showing the circle instead of diamond for the spell icon. Thus we greyed it out to indicate that it’s a spell that does not activate if you tap on it. The spell still functions as intended. Sorry for the confusion!

Update:

The team has been investigating an issue with Mogorot for losing more than 20% of its Max HP when Dark Burden is cast. The fix for this is set to be released in DCON 865.
