Educational hopefully: post animals that seem too unreal to exist 🕵️‍♀️

Can regenerate lost body parts

Okay, that’s a Pokémon or something haha

That poodle moth is sooo cute!!!:heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Maned Wolf. The zoo next door to where I live has two and they just had babies. The weirdest thing about them is that their pee smells like marijuana smoke.

Mantis shrimp:worlds fastest punch

Leaf turtle

Those fish have always shocked me…it’s getting even freakier when u stop and think why on earth would a fish need this adaptation?

That is crazy. :flushed:

Warning image may cause viewers to never go swimming again.
This parasite is an isopod that does something totally freaky!
It goes to a fish…eats the tongue then it proceeds to take the place of the tongue, for the rest of its life
Im sorry i can take it down if and when requested🙈

I feel the need to point out that that fish also has people teeth.

I’ve never heard of that before. What’s it called? I’m going to show it to my son. :+1:t3:

Proof I’ve watched too much animal planet(never too much)…I know every single creature that’s been shown :joy:

By the way, it’s a cymothia exigua aka the tongue eating louse

Those are my favorite animals ever :heart_eyes_cat::heart_eyes_cat::heart_eyes_cat:

Bigfin squids are some of my favorites. Lookin’ like some real aliens. Love 'em.

Finally a chance to post one of my favorite animals!

Say hello to Eulagisca, the Antarctic Scale Worm. Every year around Christmas I like to try to trick people into thinking these are where we get tinsel from.

It reminds me of an X-Files episode

Kakapo’s are really cool. The males build roads in the hope that a mate will stumble accross it and follow it

If a single leaf falls on the road, she will leave  :
