  • 3 Mythics

  • Due to the above, we’re removing Ascension Stones

    • Ascension tokens will now be used for ascending Mythic dragons. This ascension will replace the exotic ascension glyphs in the mythic branch

Design Intent and Strategy

The Twillight Woodlands has grown hungry and restless. Connivyl creeps about incessantly within the forest’s bounds, willing to devour whatever it can find.

Connivyl’s ceaseless hunger is paired with an insatiable and unquenchable thirst. This never-ending torment fills its attacks with power, and the passive spell Unquenchable Thirst makes all of the dragon’s attacks hit harder.

Connivyl’s active spells almost demand to be cast instantly, and you’ll have to exercise some restraint to get the most out of this dragon. The Ravenous Burst spell deals tremendous damage in a large area and makes the dragon invincible for a short amount of time, but each time it is cast, the spell increases rather than sates the dragon’s hunger, causing the spell increase in rage.

The dragon’s many victims fuel its further depredations, and when pressed it can unlease a powerful Blood Vortex. This horrid gale radiates damage to nearby foes, while slowing the dragon and allowing it to avoid all incoming projectiles.

To supplement its already fearsome attacks, Connivyl can unleash the evil lurking within the forest itself. The spell Evil Root destroys any single enemy, crushing it instantly with the forest’s power.

A merciless and implacable foe, Connivyl’s sheer aggression might someday prove its undoing.

Perwog - Patient Hunter

With enough patience, the prey will catch itself.

Mythic Ice Hunter

Spells

  • SWAMP BLAST - Active | White | 1 Rage
Deals (15) times the dragon’s attack power in damage to towers in the target area and heals for (15)% of the dragon’s modified max HP. Refunds (0.5) rage on cast. Cooldown: 4s.

  • BOG CHILL - Active | White | 1 Rage
Increases breath attack damage by (100)% and empowers breath attacks to freeze towers for (1) second while active. Duration: 4s, Cooldown: 2s.

  • LILYPAD CLOAK - Active | Blue | 1 Rage
Cloaks for duration. Slows dragon by (50)%. Increases rage regeneration speed by (150)% Duration: 2s, Cooldown: 5s.

  • STEADY GAZE - Active | White | 1 Rage
Dragon flies at (25)% of its base speed, dodges all incoming projectile attacks and supershots for (2.5) seconds and reloads 50% of its ammo. Duration: 2.5s, Cooldown: 3s.

Design Intent and Strategy

Swamps, bogs, and corrupted fens fester deep in the Twilight Woodlands, and within those dark waters lurks Perwog, the patient hunter.

Perwog prefers to strike from ambush, unleashing its powerful Swamp Blast against unsuspecting foes as its attack begins. Swamp Blast overwhelms any single target and refreshes some of Perwog’s own power when used multiple times in longer battles.

As Perwog pounces on its prey, it pours forth the ancient enervating power of the bogs in which it lairs. Bog Chill infuses the dragon’s breath with malevolent energy, causing anything it touches to be coated in corrupting frost and frozen in place for a short time.

Perwog knows it’s better to strike than be struck, and with its cunning Lillypad Cloak ability, it can fade from sight while it recovers its most powerful attacks, emerging from the swamp with yet another devastating surprise attack.

All battles are a test of wills, and in the shadows and fens of the forest, Perwog’s Steady Gaze ability has unnerved many foes, even those of proven courage. Under the steady gaze of the patient hunter, foes find it impossible to land projectile attacks, and the dragon’s own ammo is replenished.

Perwog is steady, enduring, and deceptive. This dragon knows that with enough patience, the prey will catch itself.

Cuadart - Ether Scout

Its ghostly flames guide travelers - but to where?
Mythic Fire Warrior

Spells

  • ENTRANCEMENT - Active | White | 1 Rage
Disables towers from taking action for (6) seconds or until tower is attacked. Duration: 6s.

  • VERDANT AEGIS - Active | White | 2 Rage
Reduces incoming damage by (100)%, absorbs mage tower supershots to grant (2) rage, and nullifies the effects of other supershots. Duration: 5s, Cooldown: 4s.

  • VOLATILITY - Active | White | 1 Rage
Increases breath damage by (300)%. Empowers breath to poison towers for (1)% of the dragon’s modified max HP for (4) seconds. Duration: 4s, Cooldown: 4.5s.

  • HELLFIRE WISP - Active | White | 1 Rage
Deals (125) times the dragon’s attack power in damage to towers in the target area. Heals for (15)% of the dragon’s modified max HP. Dragon gains (1.5) rage after casting the spell. Cooldown: 4s.

Design Intent and Strategy

The ghostly blue flames of the dragon Cuadart have long been a guide to travelers in the Twilight Woodlands. But always the question–- where will this dragon lead the unwary? Many times Cuadart’s interventions are benign, but at other times, whether governed by whim or reason, the dragon becomes a fearsome and dangerous foe.

Cuadart’s everburning flames can hypnotize or daze the unwary, and it can focus this inherent power into its Entrancement ability. Entrancement prevents whatever it strikes from acting, stunning enemies and locking them in place.

Despite its mischievous appearance, Cuadart is a tough, durable dragon who can fight through many wounds. Its powerful Verdant Aegis ability enhances this durability, allowing it to shrug off many attacks and gain power from absorbing some attacks.

Once battle is joined, Cuadart’s flickering flames blaze higher, and its Volatility spell burns its enemies and covers them in a corrosive corrupting power. When pressed, Cuadart can unleash a powerful hellfire wisp, a blast that shatters almost any foe it touches.

Sothe - Cursebringer

Finds its home in perpetual twilight.

Mythic Dark Invoker

Spells

  • INVOKE: SKYSHROUD - Passive | Yellow
Every (0.3) seconds a random nearby tower gets damaged for (10)% of the dragon’s modified max HP. The same tower will not be struck by lightning two times in a row unless it is the only tower nearby. Duration: 3s.

  • GUARDIAN’S FRENZY - Active | White | 1 Rage
Dragon’s breath attack deals (200)% increased damage. Duration: 1.5s, Cooldown: 3s.

  • SHIELD OF THE FOREST - Active | White | 1 Rage
Dragon becomes invincible to tower damage for duration and blocks Mage tower supershots. Duration: 2s, Cooldown: 5s.

  • CURSE OF THE OUTSIDER - Active | White | 1 Rage
Dodges all non-beam tower attacks and flies (50)% slower for spell’s duration. Dragon gains (1.5) rage after casting the spell. Duration: 4s, Cooldown: 6s.

  • SPIRIT SCREECH - Active | White | 1 Rage
Deals (15) times the dragon’s attack power in damage to towers in the target area. Heals for (15)% of the dragon’s modified max HP. Duration: 0s, Cooldown: 4s.

Design Intent and Strategy

The beautiful and mysterious Sothe finds its home in perpetual twilight. Drifting silently through the highest reaches of the forest or resting with its body twined among the boughs, Sothe is a silent, subtle predator that fears nothing and strikes with great deliberation.

Sothe opens combat with a fearsome battlecry called Spirit Screech. This blast of sonic power and ferocity levels enemies in a large area. Immediately after screeching out its warcry, Sothe empowers its breath with Guardian’s Frenzy, allowing it to swiftly rip through enemies.

Sothe shrugs off many attacks, but when pressed it activates Shield of the Forest, becoming completely immune to damage while the ability persists. Its final ability, Curse of the Outsider, fills the dragon with rage and allows it to evade all projectiles.

Sothe’s form is pure and beautiful, but the rage building inside the dragon speaks to the power of the corruption spreading through the Twilight Woodlands.
