Do you think you have what it takes to join the War Dragons economy team? Join me in this activity to put your producer skills to the test!
The rules to this game are simple: select a few items in the game of War Dragons that you see frequently posted in the store, and consolidate them to create a pack. Then, set your price based on what you feel those items would most reasonably be worth. Be sure to include the amount of each item, devise a creative name for the pack, and feel free to provide a concise explanation as to which area of the game the pack would be focused on (i.e., building, breeding, etc.); a brief rundown of your price conversion process (on a value-per-item basis) would be welcome as well. For the sake of example, I will take the first shot at this:
Name of pack:
- Builder’s Paradise Pack (fairly uncreative, but this is just an example anyway)
Constituents of pack (with amounts):
- Rubies (40,000)
- Gold Chests (100)
- 60x 48hr Speedup
- 40x 24hr Speedup
- 80x 12hr Speedup
- Elemental Embers (400,000)
- Electrum Bars (400,000)
Price of pack:
- $199.99
Price conversion process:
- 200 rubies per dollar (40,000 for $200)
- 1 gold chest per two dollars (100 for $200 — Also, 100 gold chests is equivalent to 40,000 rubies.)
- 1 day worth of speedups per dollar (200 days for $200, considered collectively)
- 2,000 Elemental Embers per dollar (400,000 for $200)
- 2,000 Electrum Bars per dollar (400,000 for $200)
Synopsis:
- This pack would be focused on the building aspect of the game. Its primary purposes are to aid players in the building process and ensure that they keep their resources afloat, and I feel it would be enticing to consumers because along with the timers and building consumables the consumer would need, they would also be granted a supply of rubies and gold chests to go toward their future season plans.
