Would be nice to know that we are not getting reward to spend gemstone to lvl up ascendant gear … I traded all my material for gemstone :))

I want to pile on here. Seems only reasonable they we should get points in the Atlas gear event for spending gemstones, just like we get for shards.
Is this just an oversight?

This is one reason I didn’t rush to exchange shards for gems, im waiting to see if they implement them in next season atlas branches etc

They should give everyone max rewards in atlas event tbh, massive pg mistake, and really unacceptable

i normally get max reward, but because of this situation… i have to sit out of whole event

Same. Im trying to ration the shards I do have. I wish we could salvage old leveled gear and get back a portion of the shards used to level it.
They chose when to introduce this new feature and did it before they had everything ready. They could have waited two weeks until they had the training event updated. But this will be just another mess up that they ignore and we are expected to eat the cost of, as usual.

None of this would be an issue if PG notify us in-game that gemstones don’t count toward the gear-leveling event. It really messed up the flow of my game play.

Not to play devil’s advocate but isn’t this the reason for the soft launch to find said bugs?
Could you imagine the outrage if this was not accounted for with a full release.
In saying that it sucks for everyone trying to fully trick their boots out now. But thems the breaks

I wouldnt say this is a bug at all. They just didnt update the event. This is more just not even finishing the job and calling it good.

It is, but the problem is the new item is used via crafting in the forge, and you need to trade shards for the gems unless you buy it, seems pretty obvious to make it give you points in the crafting event, should have just been done.

Tbh that wouldn’t have worked either, they should have released it when the crafting event wasn’t for another 10 days or something so they had that amount of time to fix it, and everyone who crafted out of the event wouldn’t get points anyhow
Personally I wouldn’t even consider of trading my material for gemstone if I knew that we wont be getting points for gemstone in leveling event. It make no sense to me why PG would offer gemstone in trading post for material if they are not able to give people point for gemstone… This just come down to PG priority @DragonPunch

I understand that, but better it happens now than when the full launch occured.
Should it have been fixed to begin with? Hell yes, my point being that a soft launch to not only correct any bugs but to find these forgotten issues, was a good idea.
I do wish that for the players that traded all their gems that maybe we could organize a buy back… Maybe give Regi one more day with unlimited reversal trades (to the same value) so people could then get some points in the atlas event

Wtf… i got a new gear lvl 10, no rewards.
I thought it would be fun to be back again, so far new stuff disappoints me.
O well, might be time to become inactive again and wait till it’s solved…wait it can’t be solved, the game is created by Pocket Gems.
