Springveil Season - Second Wave

Two final Legendary Dragons and a
Veteran Dragon Rider greet the Spring!

The second and final wave of Springveil Dragons and a new Dragon Rider make their way to War Dragons this week! An Earth Sorcerer and Dark Hunter from the Twilight Woodlands join the Springveil season - Fomhar, the Avatar of Autumn and Samhrad, the Avatar of Summer. Plus, a Veteran Dragon Rider, Terris, enters the season with bountiful support for Dragons with its Fire element armor.

Samhrad, Fomhar, and Terris were all previewed last week during our livestreams with the War Dragons Community team! Each day, we showed off different parts of the Springveil Dragons, Dragon Rider, and detailed information on a new PVP event called Kingdom Wars. To watch each of these archived livestreams, visit War Dragons on Twitch, Facebook Live, and YouTube Gaming!

This week, the Dragons community team will be flying Samhrad and Fomhar live on our weekly streams, along with Terris bonded to the Mythic Sorcerer, Corthanak. Catch them on Twitch this Wednesday (4/11) at 3pm PT, Facebook Live this Thursday (4/12) at 2pm PT, and YouTube Gaming this Friday (4/13) at 3:30pm PT!

Avatar of Summer

Cleansing fire purges all malicious intent.

The Summer sun is a blessing for some and a curse for others. The pure of heart simply enjoy its life-giving warmth. Those of malicious intent must fear the wrath of Samhrad and his purifying flames. Throughout the Summer, Samhrad scours the Woodlands for the impure of heart. By harnessing the sun’s solar energy, Samhrad purifies the land, ensuring that the unworthy never make it to Harvest season.

Portrait: The Dryad

Often, the latent energies of the forest manifest as plant-like creatures. Travelers must remain vigilant when traveling through the Twilight Woodlands, lest they succumb to the enchanting magic of the Dryads.

Avatar of Autumn

Ensures that only the strongest survive the Harvest.

While the changing leaves are beautiful, they also herald the approach of the Great Winter. Resources are scarce, and not all will survive the cold. Fomhar embodies these harrowing months. His purpose is to protect the Woodlands and ensure its survival. The weak must be culled for the strong to survive, and Fomhar enacts this mandate himself.

A mountain man that spent too long among the forest spirits of the Twilight Woodlands, and was eventually possessed by the magic of the woods. Now thoroughly mad, Makduil is more animal than man.

Druid of the Flame

An elven hierophant from the Glowing Cradle exploring the dark Twilight Woodlands in order to better understand its arcane mysteries. Like the Glowing Cradle itself, Terris maintains a balance between the nurturing power of nature and the destructive power of fire.

Which of these final Mythos Dragons will join your roster? Let's discuss!

Can you confirm this means decrease?

@jennyd and @Blahciraptor :see_no_evil:

Wouldn’t it mean Increase as in make the duration of the spell longer, up from 4 seconds?

why would it be decrease?

I was hoping cooldown :unamused:

Anyway we can convince you to make the hunter a fire type to match the rider? There is no good fire hunters for that rider…

I like the ammo increase as the second part of the hunter’s glyph

So yes, depending on the numbers from the runes/glyphs that could potentially make up the difference. TBD

@Pgcrisis, what is the radius of this spell? What spell is comparable in size?

Did i just read hunter ammo increase :hushed:

PLEASE PLEASE get rid of the cool down on the solar strike :pray::pray:
Or just change it to umbral spike? :+1::+1::+1::sunglasses:

I agree 100%. How many players can spend 156k sigils to get both the rider and a dragon to put it on from this season? I can’t imagine there are many.

Although, if they are buffing Atlas riders but not Seasonal riders, it doesn’t really matter anyway.

Who makes these decisions? Smh.

@PGCrisis any possibility of showing their ingame appearance? Blog post usually covered that c: Ty!

We plan our seasons so that the Mythic Dragon matches our most powerful Dragon Rider of the season (see: Tor and Neptus from Wintertide). Corthanak and Terris will make a great pair!

That is understood, but it doesn’t mean you couldn’t have also made one of the prerequisite dragons Fire as well.

How much extra ammo please?

But another Dark hunter? Why are all the good hunters dark and wind? I guess it makes forging gear an easy choice :joy:

Fohmar is easily shaping up to being a champion of the spring season, and that mythic ammo glyph tho :scream::scream:
