Hello, welcome to the forums! May I ask what level you are? I think I recall another user who had a similar issue because they were a low level.
Also, have tried filing a message with support?

Please have your Support ID (in game settings > About tab > right at the top) at hand.
You will also need to obtain a password in order to be able to log into the site. You can do that by clicking on the “Sign In” link and then select the “Get a password” option.
Sounds to me like you are already incubating a different egg.
Let that finish - then you can incubate Chenoloth.
Either incubating another egg or upgrading incubator
Or expedite/Speedup the egg currently incubating.
